It had been a long time coming – 10 years in fact,
but Nada Surf finally graced our shores once again, performing to huge crowds
at Brisbanes’ Speigletent, Sydney’s Annanandale Hotel and Melbourne’s The
Corner Hotel .
The set, peppered with songs from their extensive
back catalogue, as well as brand new album ‘The Stars Are Indifferent To
Astronomy’ (released earlier this year), Nada Surf proved testimont
to their well earned title of Indie Rock Legends.
Those who loitered after the shows were treated to
an acoustic performance by singer Matthew Caws of songs not featured in the 90
minute set.
