Northeast Party House set for their biggest year to date with global touring and brand new album!

This year is setting up to be Northeast Party House’s biggest to date! The lead up has seen the band release highly acclaimed 2014 debut album “Any Given Weekend”, with 2015 spent supporting it with multiple national tours and a first international circuit -  taking their renowned live show to USA, UK and Europe.

The overseas reaction was instant. After an energy filled support slot for Ladyhawke at LA’s Echoplex Centre (the band’s first live date outside of Australia), renowned booking agency Creative Artists Agency (CAA) quickly pounced to secure the band’s services for North and South America.  An impressive start given CAA has won "Booking Agency of the Year" in 10 of the last 12 years since 2002, and holds a roster that includes the likes of Beck; Fleetwood Mac; Kings Of Leon; Daft Punk; Gossip; Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Cat Power.

Just one week later the band landed in London for their first headlining gig – once announced this debut UK show sold out in less than 5 days. Northeast Party House followed this, taking to the stage at Camden’s famed Koko’s for Club NME to a crowd of over 2000 people…not bad for their first week in Europe! Once again, the band were snapped up by an acclaimed international live music booker, this time being London based  Free Trade Agency – its roster includes Happy Mondays; Wilco; The National and The Flaming Lips.

With a global touring team now in place, Northeast Party House have not wasted any time this year, heading straight into the writing room, confident and excited about the Australian and global prospects ahead. The resulting sessions has produced a whole swath of new tunes which will be recorded in Melbourne and are due for release mid 2016.

Following the recording of the new album, the band will reconnect with their UK/European fan base heading off for their second tour in May. These dates kick off at Brighton’s The Great Escape Festival May 19, before playing 3 shows as part of the UK Dot To Dot Festival in Manchester, Nottingham and Bristol. Packed between these prestigious events will be the bands headlining London show at The Garage May 21. Continental Europe will see Northeast Party House play at Amsterdam’s most iconic venue The Paradiso May 31 and rounding out the tour in Germany, with shows in Cologne, Berlin and finally Hamburg.

For Australian fans the band has announced a one off, diminutive ‘Birthday Bash’ at Melbourne’s The Corner Hotel Saturday April 2. The show, albeit for a handful of tickets is sold out, but those lucky punters who got in early will hear new material currently being worked on in the studio as well as the definitive Northeast Party House tracks!
